Question One- In the movie T-Shirts travel the narrators explained how she was not used to their ways of life. She learned how to carry water on her head from the river to her home which was more than a mile away and cook one of their of meals. The narrator was curious to inform others that they don't live how we live, we live in luxury compared to them and that they have american second hand clothing. One of the clothing sellers in Zambia, Luka, inspects the clothing he wants to purchase before buying it because he want to make sure it is good quality, with no holes or dirt on them. Luka had a tough child hood, and to afford school he went into the woods to collect fire wood and he would sell them so he could buy food and text books.
Question Two- The Salvation Army doesn't use all of the clothes they receive. Most of the clothes they are given are sold to factories who bring those clothes to Africa for Africans to sell.The largest export from the USA to Africa are clothes. The people who make the most money there are the commercial dealers, the people who supply people like Luka with clothes to sell. Africans can't afford to manufacture their own clothes
Question Four- Zambians think that Americans are picky. We don't care about everything. We only care about money. We tell other countries to do things our way. I think this is true because we are bossy and we do only care about money
