In Barranquilla, Colombia wednesday, a parrot was arrested. Lorenzo, the arrested parrot, was squaking the pharse, "run, run or the cat will get you!" Which led cops to think there was a robbery being held. Nearly 300 cop cars arrived at the scene but found the place vacated. What they found though was a trained parrot who repeated the phrase. According to authorities alerted the inmates and thieves to beat feet. Lorenzo was arrested and turned over to an ainmal shelter.
How I feel-
I think it was
dumb, scratch that, flat out r
idiculous that a parrot had been arrested. It wasn't his fault he had been trained to say that! He probably didn't even know what he was saying. He must have been scared when he saw so many people outside, all grabbing at him. Why does it seem like other countries always do...um...lets say weird things. American's wouldn't have done that, are we more educated?
